Not all of them are being unreasonable, I've had some great conversations with Sabres fans. Fact is, you most likely aren't winning any trade that involves Eichel unless you get lucky in the draft so I can see why the ask from the fan base would be sky high.

See TanSor, this is what I'm talking about. The fans want to take you of everything valuable in your organization, but in return they'll throw you a "bone" by including a piece like Thompson or Mittlestadt to make you think you're not getting completely robbed of all the young talent in your organization, despite both of them being spare, completely expendable parts.



I'd love to meet the reasonable ones you've run into though.
