Ana can retain Rakell at 50% plus they’d get many better offers. This is a worse return than Coleman or Goodrow and Rakell is by far the best player out of these names including Kerfoot.

You’d have to give up more at the end of the day. They don’t really have a need for a middle 6 C if they’re selling so Kerfoot isnt bringing a lot of value to them here. A prospect and another pick depending on the prospect and pick would likely need to be added.

There's realistically no reason for the Ducks to be looking at Kerfoot. Not saying the value isn't there, it just makes zero sense for them.

But it makes no sense for the Leafs. Leafs don't need wingers so they are aren't giving up good centre to get one. And to add a first. Would any team pay that much?

look at Goodrow and Coleman's returns, look at the return Kevin Hayes got as a rental. Rakell easily gets a 1st and a prospect (Probably Liljegren or Niemela from TOR), especially if multiple teams are after him

The Coleman and Goodrow situation is different because tampa was desperate for those players and they weren't otb. No team is desperate for Rakell as there are a lot of other players available that bring the same thing as him
