Description
First line:
It is working. It is revitalizing what otherwise has been a really poor season from the captain.

Second line:
81-13-27 has been a fine line, but not dangerous. I would look to make a switch to put Copp back with Ehlers, who worked great together in the beginning of the season.

Third line:
The Copp-Lowry-Appleton line has really just not worked at all. By having Kyle Connor on this line now, they will have a natural finisher to play with. KFC will be playing with two pretty good defensive players to try and counteract his poor defensive play.

Fourth line:
It has been a decent fourth line, the only reason is because it has been getting carried by Perrault. So I made an upgrade at fourth line center in getting Sam Gagner; who has been playing great on a pretty bad Redwings team this year.

First pair:
Pionk has been really good this year and is the best defenceman on the team, I think it would help him out to play with a player who can at least keep up with him and provide offence. Ekholm is a really good player at both ends of the ice.

Second pair:
Josh Morrissey has his best games playing with Demelo, so those two should be reunited.

Third pair: Both guys who are decent enough defensively and Poolman should still at least bring in the speed factor to help ease Forbort. Ideally I would personally have Heinola in Forborts place but we all know that is not going to happen.

Ekholm would be alright, but not at anywhere near that price. Gagner is deadweight.

I like it. I wonder if Maurice would really put KFC on that line. I like the idea of it though, help him to learn some things and perhaps get some favourable matchups. It’s not like 17 and 22 don’t produce any offence.
And for expansion, you’re cool with losing DeMelo?

I am not going to lie with you, right now I would protect:
Ekholm
Pionk
Demelo

Josh has struggled for over two years now, and he makes a lot of money for along time. Seattle is a heavily based analytical team and they wouldn't choose Josh if we exposed him anyways because his analytics for the past two years has been quite bad. I think Heinola or Samberg would be great partners for him and he would start to play better, for now, Demelo is the best option
