Trades
1.
ANA
  1. Geekie, Morgan
  2. Rees, Jamieson
  3. 2021 1st round pick (CAR)
CAR
  1. Hakanpää, Jani
  2. Rakell, Rickard
Additional Details:
retain 1-1.5 mill

I like this one because Geekie is NHL ready and Rees has good chemistry with Perreault
2.
BOS
  1. Rakell, Rickard
Additional Details:
Ive seen this one thrown around a bit, don't really know how to balance it if that is needed, im pretty neutral on it
3.
ANA
  1. Lavoie, Raphael
  2. 2021 1st round pick (EDM)
EDM
  1. Rakell, Rickard
Additional Details:
50% retained

Lavoie is very offensively talented but isnt the most well rounded player from my readings. also the pick for this would like be a bit earlier than most other options, it currently sits in the early 20s. Also Rakell would be a monster next to McDavid, i dont see how he doesn't return to a 30 goal pace, hell I wouldnt be surprised if he got 40 in 82 lol
4.
ANA
  1. Kerfoot, Alexander
  2. Niemelä, Topi [Reserve List]
  3. 2021 1st round pick (TOR)
  4. 2021 4th round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
4th is conditional and becomes a second if the leafs passing the first round ;)
TOR
  1. Rakell, Rickard
Additional Details:
Retain 1 mil

Niemela looks like a solid prospect with decent upside, probably not quite as much as Rees or Lavoie though. Also the first will likely be the latest of all previously mentioned. Also Kerfoot needs to go to ANA for cap purposes.

I like the Debrusk for Rakell trade though Boston may have to add a young D like Zboril or Lauzon

I have a feeling the Canes are not trading Rees...I think he’s the most underrated prospect they have, and could be quite valuable as a 3rd line scoring forward in the future. We are going to need a few guys on ELCs like this as contract extensions kick in over the coming few years.

I like the idea of adding Rakell, but don’t see how they’d pay this kind of a price.

Honka is the prospect I would personally target from you guys, what would the odds of him being included over Rees?

I think the boston trade is the best. But Rakell in edm could be like rust in Pitt making great players even better

I totally see your point, Rees is definitely underrated, But if im Bob Murray i would at least try to get Rees. What other prospect would you consider subbing in? Gunler? Suzuki? Maybe Ducks add more retention or take bad cap back, the deal could definetly be molded and adapted
