Way too much to give up for 1 full year of Kuemper. Better to see what you have in Kahkonen.

Even if Suter waives his NMC for Buffalo (he won't btw, who would?), Buffalo isn't taking his deal so cheaply. They'd want to send back Okposo with some picks involved to balance.

Why give up all that for Hischier? See what you have in Rossi and Boldy and keep the picks. There's no reason to give up a bunch of assets when you have some solid prospects who might end up better than what you're acquiring.

Lastly, you have $11m in cap space in this scenario. Why move Rask for a return that doesn't really help? He's done well when there's an injury and they need a fill-in and extra center depth is always good to have.
