Description

Who would make sense to trade for Garland? Personally I think that they should keep him and resign him, but coyotes need draft picks and more high-level prospects and are apparently listening. So who would make sense as a trade partner? The return needs to be a high-end (A tier) prospect, a defenseman with term (preferably right-handed), and a high round pick (1st or 2nd depending on the quality of the other pieces involved). The first team that comes to mind that makes sense is Carolina, but are there others that have the pieces and desire to make a deal?

If he's available the hawks are in, but the price you're asking is too steep. Garland is really good but he doesn't return you an A prospect. RHD with term, and FRP

If you want such pieces, could Chychrun be a piece on the market as well? As a hab fan, Id give you Guhle (A prospect), 2021 first, 2022 second, Fleury and Byron for cap purpose.

Canes have plenty of prospects and picks, but in your description you mentioned a defenseman (preferred RHD) with term which is something the Canes wouldn’t be able to give unless you count Jake Gardiner or H.Fleury (neither are right shot).

As mentioned before, in reality you won’t get all three of those thing...which mean he likely isn’t traded. He has two arb eligible RFA years then UFA coming. He’s likely up for a big pay day so a cap team like the canes would have to be careful there too.

Only issue is that the coyotes are likely looking for C prospects and I don’t think that the leafs have any the coyotes would be interested in. He would be perfect for you guys though
