Probably good value on the trades. But playoff contenders don't usually trade upcoming UFAs. They are in a win mode...or least make a good playoff run.

not sure Blues will make the playoffs based on the fact their schedule is very vegas, colorado and minnesota heavy.

This team is considerably worse without those two forwards in their top 9 though -- depends if they are a playoff team or not this year

I feel like you don't know what the word sense means. Even if the Blues were interested in trading Schwartz (they so very much are not even remotely interested in that), the value there is terrible with both retention AND Komorov coming back. Less than zero chance of this. Thank goodness.
