Description
A lot hinges on what happens to Dumba but Menell looks like the odd man out. I realize these are kind of all over the place but think of this a throwing out feelers.

For folks that aren’t familiar, Menell is a 23 yo RHD coming off a season in the KHL as its leading defenseman scorer. He’s ready to step in as a #4 and take some PP time. Best part is he’s cheap.

      He’s boxed out. Addison plays the same role on an ELC. Only way he gets a shot is if they move Dumba.

      Russo who covers wild said the wild has been In touch with him, & plan to resign him after expansion

      Also it makes zero sense for wild to move a Minnesota born player who went, & developed more in the KHL

      NJ Devils would give a late pick maybe - but not a young player off their roster. Could help fill out RHD depth.

      I see that. I used the idea that two young players need a new home to get their shot. Boqvist definitely has the higher ceiling though.
