Ovi has had a great career, and is still a good player; but a $10,5m x 4 on a +35 contract is a bad idea.

The cap doesn't work for MN in that trade.

TBF, by year 3 or 4 of that contract, it's not going to matter much. The Caps won't be contending at that point since the core will all be in their mid-30s and it's going to be mostly about getting Ovi the goals record lol
