If they could get NY to dump leddy for a 3rd then id do it. Hes a guy you could get minutes from and then flip at the deadline for a profit. Ulmark id sign for sure if hed sign here. I'm surprised he hasnt gotten more attention this offseason so far. Monahan isnt a reality.

Although Monahan fits the mold of what they want to do here of players 26 and under, the flames aren't going to trade him unless they get a nhl player in return. I think they want to try and find a hockey deal for their guys if possible.

Instead of giving a four picks for a total of three years of Monahan and Leddy and taking on 12.3 in cap just spend 12.3m on UFAs and keep the picks.
Isles would "give" Leddy away for cap reasons.
