        If thats the price I think MTL just keeps Byron, Poehling might take Danault's spot next year or the year after. Honestly if they need to move him it's only next year that would be the problem they still have cap space this summer.

        I would rather swap Foegele out for a 2nd round pick and then use Foegele in a package deal.

        You would only get future considerations back and only a 2nd isn't likely to be enough.

        The Staal deal was a 2nd for one year and Gardiner is two years.

        You can view this as getting Svechnikov + two 2nds for Foegele.
