Description
Tampa HAS to do 7/3 protection for Seattle expansion rather than any 8 skaters or Colton Killorn would be taken for nothing. But that means Mc Donough exposed. With these 3 trades .. $18M is cleared and maybe sign Goodrow. McDough a huge loss though.

I think that Seattle would take McDonagh given his playoff performance. I also think they’d take a package for Johnson too. Something like Raddysh and a third with Johnson and Seattle takes McDonagh, who immediately becomes the best player on the team and face of the first year squad. Johnson could probably swing a top 6 role on what looks to be a weak team. Raddysh may get the shot he won’t get on Tampa to show his talents at the NHL level.

youll get dumped on for the johnson deal but if the flames are acquiring a top 64 pick along with johnson it should be something they look at. especially if gio goes to seattle.

best case scenario, calgary gets a guy who plays a relatively strong center game in the bottom six and he can put up some good points, worse case they have an overpaid fourth line winger and a pick to continue building towards teh future if they burn it down.

Montreal's PK was historically good during the playoffs, Price was a big part of it but still. Montreal doesn't need PKers, they need more scoring.
