Good trade by Stan. Considering the legal issues, he needs to be fired ASAP.

Keith looks awful analytically but as someone who watched every game over the last 3 seasons, he has been playing HEAVY minutes against every top line in the league. Often playing with guys known to cough up the puck (Gus, teenage Boqvist, Mitchell). I don’t think he’ll be holding back the Oilers, time will tell. Thanks Duncs

I would be interested in MAF as a cap dump OR to facilitate him to another team. Outright paying for him (even this amount) isn’t doing much for the hawks.

Seattle should take CDH, but they won’t.

Edit: I honestly find it highly unlikely that Stan Bowman will get fired because of the allegations, the hawks will blame it on guys who have left the organization recently and their legal defense will probably hold up…

Stan is not getting fired the team ex-team President McDonugh took that bullet. He was Stan's boss at the time of the alleged incident and Stan is not going anywhere. Stan going to finish this rebuild and finally prove all his haters wrong. Plus if these allegations were fact and somehow Bowman was implicated don't you think team USA would have already given him the boot?

Give me a break people. He's Duncan friggin Keith. Edmonton did fine in this trade. Being a good defenseman in a young or bad defensive system does not bode well for stats.

IF MAF is a cap dump, the Hawks aren't sending much back, and will probably net a prospect or pick (or both) back. The Hawks clearing $5MM+ off the books to turn around and pay an aging goalie $7MM+ isn't in their plans w/o some sort of compensation.
