Ideally the Oilers will be able to sign Savard themselves. They are at a competitive disadvantage though, and I suspect Savard will end up elsewhere. Its equally unlikely the Oilers would give up those draft picks for Subban, even with 50% salary retention. I think they will either bring Tyson Barrie back, or look for a veteran shut-down RHD to play with Duncan Keith. I hope its the later and not the former.

yeah there's no rumor there. But there's something about Elliott Friedman projecting the Devils as a team for Tarasenko, so that's why I made the offer. This had nothing to do with Butcher for Tarasenko, just made that the trade.
