Description

This is all based on Buffalo's supposed ask from Vegas. Not saying it would be accepted, but it's an ok attempt. The ask was Smith, Krebs, Hague, and a 1st. I subbed out a 1st to make up for value. I think Holtby gets 2.5 MAX. I tried Kahun on a 1 year prove-it deal. I signed Goligoski for depth on D. I heard Boston as one of the teams that was a landing spot. I could've also gone for Forbort, who Bruins are also in on. I'm probably going to catch flak for this but whatever. It's just a hypothetical package that the Bruins COULD offer

Difference is that the Bruins are in the Sabres division while Vegas is in a different conference

The problem here is that all of the Boston assets are a notable step below the Vegas assets. Krebs is much better than Studs, Hague is notably better than Urho, and Smith and DeBrusk are a wash. I see the similarity but there is a big quality difference here.

Boston doesn't have what it takes to trade for Eichel nor do they want him in the division. Pretty Simple

The extra late 1st does not make up the difference between Studnicka and Krebs. Plus out of division.
