Description
Trying a little something to be more competitive and give Hughes some scoring help. Going into his last year of his Entry Level Deal, if Jack wants big money he will have a proven scorer on his wing to show it. Evander has some baggage but being traded across the country could be good for him and the Sharks, it might actually be good for the Devils getting a proven scorer and a chance to really mature.

Kahun is a good bottom 6 add in my opinion at low cost to replace what Bastain provided and we lost to Seattle.

Added a Veteran Forward and good all around to replace T. Zajac in Bozak. He is righty which is nice and he brings a good 200 foot game, has won before, and can win face offs and is a righty.

Trades
NJD
  1. Kane, Evander
  2. 2022 5th round pick (BUF)
Additional Details:
Buying low on a reclamation project from a social and PR perspective. If any team can take this on, it's the NJD's and with Subban still in the mix and being in Newark, I think it could be a good fit for Kane and the Devils. Plus, it gives a real shooter for Hughes this year. Devs doing SJS a favor taking on whole salary for 4 more years.
SJS
  1. Johnsson, Andreas
  2. 2022 4th round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
NJDs giving up on Johnsson, not a huge loss here but you have to give to get. Plus from SJS perspective, he is younger, has good underlying metrics, and he was def not feeling the love from Devs fans.

No. No. No. Just no. The last thing a team with an average age of like 23 years old needs is a locker room cancer.

Ive been a Kane defender for a long time, but the man has demons and bringing him close to Atlantic City will not help him

Atlantic City would be the least of his worries haha you can gamble anywhere in NJ at this point

Just throwing it out there as an interesting possibility. Cancer in the locker room is a huge concern when building a winning environment. EK is definitely not a Tony Deangelo and there are issues there. Every opinion here has merit.

Sharks accept and cheer. Seriously though, you don't want a gambling addict anywhere near AC. He's also chronically late for practices and games. Very selfish person even his own teammates want him gone.
