Description
Take it or leave it. Some habs fan will think its too much and some Sabres/ARZ will think it's not enough anyway. It's just my personal take on both player. I would like to have them really bad on our roster but this is the maximum I would give for them after that it's just a no deal. So I guess this is my realistic take on both (this is not a plan to get both it's either one or the other)

* I will repost this in more appropriate hours for more feedback so if you see it again dont bother
* Please make constructive answers so we can argue about the post or then again.. dont bother
Trades
1.
BUF
  1. Drouin, Jonathan
  2. Kotkaniemi, Jesperi [RFA Rights]
  3. Romanov, Alexander
  4. 2022 1st round pick (MTL)
  5. 2023 1st round pick (MTL)
Additional Details:
Primeau could be add here if it's really the deal or no deal factor. In an ideal world he would be included only with either one of Romanov, KK or a 1st out of the deal. But I guess I could let him go even with all of that for freakin Jack Eichel.
2.
ARI
  1. Lehkonen, Artturi
  2. Poehling, Ryan [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Lehkonen does not add much value here but for cap compliance and because he's a hell of a bottom 6 player, he still remain a good return piece

2022 1st
+ one of Ylonen, Strubble, Kidney, Kapanen or other prospects ARZ scouted and liked a lot
(Guhle, Harris and Norlinder are out of the equation unless it's again a deal or no deal situation but then something else would have to come back or be taken out (or reduce like a 2nd instead of a 1st in a ideal world)

I think Arizona would take the 2022 1st for Dvorak.

I don't think there's a deal to be made for Eichel for the assets the Habs would be willing to move.

As a Sabres fan, i don’t think I’d do it
To trade Eichel to you guys, the Leafs, or Boston- i would want a major overpayment
And while the 1sts are nice….
I just don’t love those prospects at all really

Can’t see u guys getting Eichel from us without including Caufield or Suzuki…. OR BOTH

I doubt Montreal gives up their 1st in 22 unless it is a very very special player coming back, not with the draft in Montreal.

I see this comment a lot, however Sabre fans have to realize that Eichel is injured and requires major career threatening surgery. There is no way any teams should be willing to give up what equates to 4 1st's plus or Mortgage the future for him. Buffalo is NOT going to win any Eichel trade, this and any other trade that includes Suzuki or Caufield is a win. Eichel is a 90-100 point player look at what the package includes. Drouin a 50 point player, KK a potential 50-70 point player, Romanov a top 4 Dman, and 2 1st round picks. The package replaces what Buffalo lost in Eichel both production wise and on the defensive side and then goes above and beyond that significantly. The sum of these parts is worth more than the whole (Eichel) when he is not injured factor in the injury and its a HUGE overpayment.

I’m plenty ok with keeping Eichel if no one will pay up
