That's twice what Buchnevich brought back, for a guy one year away from free agency who never scored 20G.

Take away Poehling and a second, and you might be closer.

Holy overpay... The two 2nds should be more than enough for a rental whose points are inflated by Panarin.

From a Rangers fan standpoint I think it’s an overpay too. The Panarin inflation is just a lazy argument though. He put up points on the third line after his trade, puts them up with Panarin and continued last year when he took the leave of absence. Not everyone can play with a player like Panarin and be successful as well. He’s been a great addition just won’t fit with future plans of team

I think this would be a big move for the Habs. To much going to NY but he would make a great 3C for the mtl
