By not giving up Smith in the deal, we now have L Hughes Smith and Q Hughes as defensive liabilities (hopefully L Hughes will get better overtime, but there isn’t much defense on that left side). Instead ur giving up a goal scorer and the big thing that the devils lack is goal scoring. Also McLeod is great in the circle and I don’t think Zacha knows exactly what a faceoff is. Severson should be ahead of Subban.

Canucks laugh and hang up. Replace the second with a first and replace Siegenthaler and Bahl with Ty Smith and you got a deal. Devils fans are so delusional!
