COL DEAL:

Leafs create arguably one of top center cores (up with PIT/WAS) Matthews/Duchene/Kadri Down the Middle is insane

Avalanche get a roster player who they could flip for 2 seconds (Lars Eller comparison), they get their 1st rd pick, and 2 B/B- prospects. Rychel is probably ready for an NHL shot and the Leafs don't have space on their wings, Nielsen sucks to part with but they've got to give.

NJD DEAL:

Leafs get a Top Right Handed Defenseman.

NJD get a top six forward to compliment Hall, they get a A- prospect in Kapanen who oozes skill and could be a good compliment with Zacha in their future, and a bottom pairing defenseman to fill a roster spot.

    Love the Duchene deal. Rychel is no better than Soshnikov and Bozak is...well he's Bozak.

    But then the wheels fall off the bus for Severson.

    yea this trade is very realist only if the Leafs are done rebuilding and have all there prospects fully grown

    Way too much for Severson. NJ wouldn't trade him anyways, especially since they are already thin on defense and have young, up-and-coming forwards like Zacha, McCleod, Wood, and Quenville
