Hextall has openly said he's likely not to move any prospects, but is open to listening if it's a really good deal. Does this qualify? Honestly, I'm not sure. There are a few things that hinge on POJ's future. If the idea is still to move Pettersson then I'd say it's highly unlikely he gets moved. Personally? I'm a big fan of Juuso Riikola and think he's diamond in the rough. I'd be fine with moving both POJ and Pettersson, and let Riikola take over, so if it were up to me? I'd probably strongly consider this.

I just dont get why we would do this. Salo and bolduc are at most like one year away. Getting POJ would just create a logjam for no reason at all.

You can get Pettersson for that. I just don’t see the pens trading POJ. I think they will want the most cap space possible to have a big free agency next year. They will likely hope MP has a good year then move on from 1 of Pettersson or Matheson if the hockey Gods help us out.
