This doesn't make much sense for the Capitals. Tarasenko is decent but giving up Orlov is too much of a hit to the defense, and The caps would need to ship off Kuzy and probably Hagelin to make these two trades work. Its a big risk to get a marginal wing upgrade and a huge risk to bring in Ghost after how he's played. Also to state the obvious there really isn't a way to put a healthy Kuzy and Hathaway on LTIR, and even if they did thats yet another hit to the team, as it forces Oshie to play consistent center minutes, something he probably isn't used to doing for long periods of time, and it really messes with the chemistry of the 4th line, which was arguably the Caps most consistent line all year.
