    Wouldn't say it does nothing, but not sure if Winnipeg is interested. A checking line consisting of Copp-Lowry-Mikheyev would likely be one of the best in the entire league. I am not sure if Winnipeg would want to give up DeMelo.

    Mikheyev sucks. The only team where he would get an increased role is maybe Buffalo. If anything he should have a diminished role. And he holds no trade value.

    Jets so close to the cap similar to Toronto, there need would be a cheaper version of demelo and or some physical player that has potential to crack top 6. Lillgren possibly or a prospect or two to fight for nhl jobs. But Jets probably holding pat with there current lineup though, there 3 rhd could slotted a variety of ways with the potential of a number 1 pairing of morrissey/demelo or morrissey/Schmidt. With a probability of dillon/pionk getting top minutes plenty of nights
