I didn't include players that will be on LTIR indefinitely. Term is weighted heavier so that's why only guys that give you nothing at high cap hit with less than 2 years left are included. I also try to stay away from including guys that have term at high number but have potential to rebound after one mediocre season

Guys bought out from that list Parise, Neal, Nielsen, Suter, Jones. Seabrook and Weber are now considered indefinite IR (for time being)
Only one I would quibble with being here is Pageau. Only NYI fans would really know, but I think he is a fantastic 2 way, shutdown C. Better than Danault IMO, for example, and on a better deal.
