Credit to @jacobla for the initial Strome trade, i thought the value is right where it hurts enough to lose and exciting enough to gain the players involved (more often referred to as a win-win). BFF's Strome and McD get to play together along with Hyman (the main reason he's here anyhow).

As for Georgiev-Koskinen, it's quite obvious Georgiev isnt the clear-cut starter with Shesterkin signed to a long term contract. Why not ring up a familiar phone line and make a swap?

Will Georgiev roadblock Skinner? I don't think so. Skinner-Georgiev might be a viable 1A/1B tandem once they're both in the NHL full time the year after next (thanks for the memories Schmiddy).

You are really underselling Stromes next contract. If/when he gets to EDM he is going to put up points and that contract just isn’t going to cut it.

There was a post last week with Oiler fans declining to trade Yamamoto for Hertl saying it was "too much" but you're willing to give Yamamoto + for Strome who isn't even half the player lol. This is such a flawed place.

Georgiev is half the goalie Talbot was, there's no correlation at all.
