I looked at the 2006 draft the other day and really Toews, Giroux and Backstrom were the cream of the crop by far (dont remember Marchand).

As far as salary Backstrom and Giroux are still worth that and producing, although Philly fans will be happy that Giroux only has 1 yr left (and probably resigns for less) than Backstrom with 4 more yrs at 9mil

Only 6 defensemen are 33. (Petry, Johnson, Biega, Fedun, Hunt and Irwin). Why are Butcher and Maatta in this team?
