Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of having Miller added to the top 6. That said, it's still obvious that the downfall of the Oilers is the bottom 6 and overall team defense. Holloway should be a free "addition" to the bottom 6 once healthy. I'm sure they'll add another forward as well. I could see them spending more on 3LD to upgrade on Koekkoek/Russell and make take some minutes off of Keith/Nurse. Can't do much on RHD without moving Barrie out.

I think we'd rather add a bottom 6 player or a 3LD if anything. And I think the organization isn't likely to move Broberg

Canucks don't have a spot for Broberg so you're gonna have to do better than that if you want the Canucks to trade Miller within the division

I might be the biggest Miller fan in the world. Like I absolutely love his game and would love the Oilers to make a move for him. But you’re out of your mind if you think the Oilers move Broberg for him. As the Oilers continue to have big deals kick in (Nurse and JP, to go along with Drai, McD, Nuge, Hyman etc), they will be relying on ELC players making an impact in the lineup. Broberg and Holloway are next in line, so there is zero chance they get moved at this point. I’m all for trading picks. I’d typically be against moving quality assets for forward help, as a goalie and top 4 dmen would be more of a priority but for Miller I’d make it happen.

Given he only has 2 years left, I’d do a 1st and a decent prospect, then we’d probably need to add some money headed out. Maybe a Turris/Russell combo go even out some money. If they are retaining, then add some mid round picks
