As a Sabres fan I generally support the Holtby trade. Any chance you need a player off the roster as opposed to picks? Maybe a pending UFA? Hinostroza, Eakin? Not sure if Dallas’ needs.

Don’t think the sharks want to retain that much but I would do that if I was GM. Worth it to have the extra $3.5 mil off the books and get picks and a player.
