Description
I really hate Enstrom but it's one more year then he is done. There will be money to sign the kids with Enstrom/Stuart/Moulson not being resigned and the better defense will make Hellebuyck better. Also role all 4 lines cause that's crazy depth...
Also if Buffalo trade isn't up to par then add the rights to Poolman in and take out Lodge to make it essentially a 2 for 2 defense trade with Moulson and a Buffalo pick to make it happen.

Trades
1.
WPG
  1. Guhle, Brendan
  2. Moulson, Matt
  3. Ristolainen, Rasmus
Additional Details:
Trouba would sign longterm with Buffalo (for similar money as Risto) as it is near his his hometown, also lose a terrible contract in Moulson which helps you guys resign all your kids, also get middling prospect.
BUF
  1. Lodge, James
  2. Trouba, Jacob
Additional Details:
Upgrade our d and take on Moulson whose contract is up when Laine needs a contract so its fine. Trouba doesn't wanna stay here anyway so let him leave.
2.
WPG
VGK
  1. Byfuglien, Dustin
Additional Details:
Convince Buff to waive NMC and he is chosen because his declining defensive play means he gets 3rd line minutes if he stays so let him go to Vegas where he would probably be captain because he's still pretty good offensively and is a leader/cult player. Winnipeg will have trouble fitting his contract under the cap in a couple years so its ok to lose him for nothing rn because it's a long term move.
3.
WPG
  1. 2018 5th round pick (EDM)
EDM
  1. Matthias, Shawn
Additional Details:
Gritty, experienced bottom six guy who's good defensively for cheap cause he gets forced out of Peg lineup

Sabres say hell no!

Ristolainen is a top pairing defenseman and is better than Trouba.

Guhle has top 4 potential and plays on the left side, which the Sabres need really bad, and he is unbelievably fast.

Las Vegas already owes GMTM a favor and will probably take Moulson I the expansion draft.

In my opinion Trouba, 1st round pick (8-12), 2nd round pick wouldn't even get ristiolainen, but that's just me.

what makes you say that Risto is better than Trouba? I am curious on why you say that? Is it just bc he produces more points? Sure Risto has 44 points this year, but the vast majority of them on are the PP...one of the best PPs in the league this year. 5v5 I think he has only like something like 18 points, Trouba has 25. Trouba doesnt play nearly the PP minutes as Risto does, 90 TOI PP mantes for Trouba vs 244mins in Risto.

And once you start to look at the advance stats of the 2, Trouba has very impressive possession and shot suppression numbers compared to very bleak ones in Risto.

I like Risto, I think hes a top end puck moving Dman, but lets not discredit how good and complete of a Dman Trouba is. He really is a beast out there
