"Good young forward prospects and a possible backup to Petersen"?!?!? Wow! What a haul!! Berard is an unsigned fifth-round pick who is behind Othmann, Cuylle and Aaltonen on your prospect chart at LW. Lamb is an unsigned fourth-round pick who is behind Pajuniemi and several other guys who are already in the NHL or promotable at RW. And Garand is your third-best goalie prospect. We wouldn't trade Trevor Moore, a proven bottom-6 forward, for those three stiffs. And you don't even include a 2022 first-round pick in that offer for a guy taken second overall and who has done nothing to show that that evaluation was optimistic?

What an awful, awful, insulting, awful offer that is.
