  1. Getzlaf, Ryan ($1,500,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Getzlaf has been having a bit of a bounce back season but is still an elite playmaker. Flames have been looking for a right handed shooting forward and Getzlaf could be the that fits that need. He brings a wealth of playoff and championship experience and would fit Sutter's system perfectly.
Anaheim's reported asking price last season was a 2nd round pick, and with Calgary having multiple of them I could see them meeting that price. The only dilemma here is if Anaheim is still in the playoff hunt around saline and if they're determined to make a run at playoffs or not. But value wise I can't see them getting anymore than this.
ANA
  1. 2022 2nd round pick (FLA)
  2. 2023 5th round pick (CGY)
Additional Details:
Conditional 2022 round pick (FLA):
- Anaheim receives the later of the 2 picks that Calgary currently owns (Florida's and their own)
2.
CGY
  1. Toffoli, Tyler ($2,125,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Going back to Sutter's days in LA, Toffoli was his go to guy for goals and he again fits the need of a top 6 right handed shooter for the Flames. Calgary's cap situation makes this a bit of a tough deal, so retention would be needed to make it work. The Habs have the cap space to facilitate the retention and in the process they pick up picks and prospects to help their rebuild.
The general price for Toffoli should be right around a 1st and a 2nd round pick, I've then added Tyler Pitlick as a cap neutralizer and compensated Montreal with a 3rd round pick for taking Pitlick for the cap reasons. Due to the retention, I've given Montreal a very solid centre prospect in Emilio Pettersson - who could be a very good 2C behind Suzuki in the future.
It's a steep price for Calgary to pay, but with the retention needed the price will go up & the Flames have a shot to go deep in the playoffs with the right moves made.

Ducks are playing better than the Flames. No way they trade their captain to a rival.

Why are you just over the top on every trade offer today? Like come on this offer is already more than we could ever imagine in the real world and you're nitpicking to add their best goalie prospect (Like if goaltender was really our issue in Montreal with Carey, Allen here and Primeau, Dobes, Nichow and Vrbetic in the pipeline...). Only two years of retention for that haul, I'd be banging that 'Deal' button as fast as Bill Cosby was assaulting women.
