Admittedly don't watch Colorado on a consistent basis so just giving the components involved. So maybe Jost maybe Compher maybe Kaut (cap doesn't work as well with him). Would think Colorado would want some veteran depth with Byram issue. Unlikely any team would want to depend on Johnson, Murray, or Macdermid to play significant playoff minutes on D.

Yeah MacDermid playing D the Avs have figured out is a recipe for disaster. De Haan is an interesting guy for the Avs. Half of Avs fans will 100% be down with this half not, I’m kinda on the fence. 100% the Avs need a depth dman because last thing they need to do is rush Byram back. Not thrilled about it being an RFA for a UFA but with the retention can’t complain. Honestly probably fair value both ways.

hes been playing 4th line fwd and hes been passable, there is no LMAO about it. Silly trade but he hasn't been a bad fwd for them in limited spots.

Why do you think he plays forward now? They love him in the locker room, he dresses in the games they know they will need a physical presence, and honestly he has made a positive impact in some of the games he has played simply by being a deterrent. So go ahead and laugh all you want but tell me the last time a COL 4th rd pick made any impact in any NHL game. Go ahead I’ll wait.
