Habs pass. I don't think its a bad offer but we have no use for Gawdin or Pitlick. It would have to likely be a second rounder coming back to move the needle. Keep in mind both picks will be late and Montreal won't be giving up a pick in the deal. All my opinion though!

I mean I don't like Monahan or Zadorov but if CBJ just has to pay a 4th and an ahler for monny then it's a deal

Man I don't know guys, Calgary may not even make the playoffs this year but even if they do, they'd likely go out in the first round against a team like Colorado or Vegas. That pick is destined for 13th-18th IMO. (Assuming lottery protection) That's a high pick. Pitlick and Gawdin are just a cap trade offs. Any trade involving a player with 4M cap is going to involve other cap coming back to the Habs. That is just how it goes. We can't simply decline and say give us picks instead.
