Idk if Chevy would do it but myself I'd pass, would rather keep Vesalainen, he is a big kid and the Jets really lack some size up front imo, he's pretty responsible defensively too

I like it. Boqvist has always seemed to me like the type who will eventually figure it out, but it will probably be elsewhere since he is not beating Hughes, Hischier, Mercer, Sharangovich, or McLeod out of a job. Too much speed, skill to waste as a scratch. And he has proven himself in SHL, AHL. Now just needs regular minutes in NHL.

Other options for him would be a rebuilding team that could use him at 3C, Columbus with his brother, or for another struggling player like Klim Kostin in St Louis.

There's nothing in it for the Jets from Winnipeg's point of view. Boqvist doesn't give the Jets anything they need, so Winnipeg might as well stay with the younger guy with better pedigree.
