Description

No rumours linked to Debrincat or Chicago but would love for this to happen. I picked Alexeyev to be traded as I think he holds the most value of the D prospects on the left side, which also happens to be our deepest side, Sprong because he's a young roster player and Lav won't give him a chance. Also I think Protas has been incredible of late, he's looked like the caps hardest working player the last 3 games and I know its early but would love to see him on the playoff roster

Another hot take is I think McMichael is due for a trip to the AHL, him only getting 8ish min a night is doing nothing for him. I think he's capable of a lot more but Lav won't give him that.

Barabanov seems like a jack of all trades, came into the NHL as a bottom 6 energy guy but has had some time in the top 9 with SJ as well and has performed well.

This also only works if Mantha gets Kucherov'd until the playoffs, and Oshie has had trouble staying healthy as well. Once Mantha comes back I think either Protas or Eller comes out.
