Brown for a year and a half at 50% retained for a little extra flexibility in the offseason plus Paul on a rental to reunite them with Mangiapane. I know talk is that Calgary is looking to add a top 6 forward and a top 6 dman but maybe they pull the trigger on something like this if it presents itself.

It's a nice return but this trade actually makes the Senators less successful next season.
You've got Paul and Brown in your top 6 next year and Ottawa doesn't add a single player to their opening night roster. Declined.
