lyubushkin is a guy you get for the bottom pairing for depth, not to play in your top 4, and not at the expense of a better defenceman. And Engvall is miles better than Galchenyuk.

bad trade for the leafs


Galch did well for us last year he seemed to play better when he came to Toronto then he did anywhere else.

galch was given pillow soft mins with much better players than Engvall gets and engvall is still producing more offence and being actually good at defensive play, something galch has never done in his career

The Ritchie trade is pretty realistic. But the fascination for bottom enders on non playoff teams doesn't really help the Leafs at all. Holl and Engvall provide good value now, and next year/
