This trade is just Rask for Tierney swap (MN wins). The picks are something you'd see at the draft and wonder why did OTT send that 7th back to MN.

The swap of 3rds is probably the most significant aspect of the deal, and Ottawa is the one moving down. Don't really see a point to this for Ottawa

Who knows maybe Rask fits and is extended another year to bring a big of depth as we always have so many injuries
