Says reasonable trades.... proceeds to make unreasonable trades.

For the billionth time, Detroit does not want Petry for free, let alone giving up assets to get him. Hard pass.

I agree I'm not sure why their in on him but it would make sense because it would be really tough for Sobrango to get a spot on the blueline and Petry could mentor Seider and Edvinsson but their right side does not need improving. I just chose Detroit cause I'd though he would go there, Habs fans will ask for a first though.

Nothing reasonable about that Boston trade. Easy no

1 of those pieces for Lehk is fair. Don’t want him, but fair. Everything else is overpay. Dauphin is waiver trash.

I'm one of the few Detroit fans who isn't opposed to Petry to Detroit. That said I give up a third for him at most, his contract is not good, I know he's been decent the last few games but the season as a whole has been trash. The favour it does Montreal for their cap out weighs what Detroit gets out of it. Sebrango is looking like Lindstrom 2.0 for us so don't really want to move him. But I do agree Petry could be a good mentor for Edvinsson. Only way it makes sense though is if Detroit gets a really good return for Hronek.
