The value for Schenn is fine, but the Pens don't need him.

Can't see why the Blues shouldn't do that necessarily, but they also need to build a pipeline (so 1st rounder doesn't seem likely) and Saad has been good for them and is signed cheap. I like Miller and he'd fit in great. To be honest, I'd be more okay with Saad and Bolduc for Miller than a 1st.

I get what your saying, but Blues have some really good younger players and JT Miller isn't too old so they could still get a few good years out of him. Blues are at such an awkward stage of being great and being a rebuilder. 2022 draft class isnt too deep so I think they could part ways with this years. Cause idk if Canucks would give up JT Miller without a 1st

The Blues need defense more than forwards right now. They also have a lot of contracts up after next season (Thomas, Kyrou, ROR, Barbashev) so adding another in Miller isn't ideal. Again, love Miller and he's perfect for the Blues system though. I'm not against the move in principal. Since Saad is signed for several years at a reasonable rate, I think the Blues would benefit more from a different package.

Couldn't the Canucks get more for J.T Miller though?

The guy can play all three forward positions, on special teams, and all of the fancy guys who talk about hockey speak highly of him. Canucks fans who watch him all year would be better judges than me, but when I've seen him play I see a guy worth a first, a top 9 player and a top prospect.
