not as insane as your name suggests. doughty would help the win now rangers. rangers would want trade similar salary and the kings need forwards.

Yeah if you want Doughty and I'm the Kings I'm not doing it without getting Zibanejad, Miller, and Zborovskiy at a minimum. If you wanted to give up less (like the trade above) you'd have to take back one of Brown/Gaborik as cap dumps - at least that's the only possible option I see to that trade above but that puts New York way over the cap.
