Yep totally get it, but Pinto is who I'd want to target from Ottowa if they're trading Fiala. Otherwise, like I posted above, the popular 2022 1st/Jarventie trade idea.

Think it would have to be 1st and Jarventie over Pinto and a 2nd since the Sens org is apparently very high on Pinto. Which is fine if a center is what you're after, there's a ton of good center prospects in the top 12 this year and given Brackett's extensive draft history I'd be very confident with his selection.

Overall pretty realistic, though I'm not sure if Fleury will play after this season. And if we somehow did manage to trade for Pinto, he would definitely be playing in the middle 6. Hartman probably moves back to wing to make room

If I'm OTT I'd hesitate trading first rounders until they actually compete for a playoff spot. Otherwise a trade like this could very easily backfire. See Blackhawks and the Jones trade for example.

I'd argue this is a full value exchange for Fiala, which is unlikely to happen as the guy is likely going to be moved as a RFA.

Very good points on the ott trade.
Whether its true or not, supposedly Fleury wants another season and I'd like to think he can be better than he has been with Chicago. If the Wild did trade Talbot somewhere, I'm not sure I'd trust Kaapo yet to have a fulltime role. Sure hope I'm wrong and he's a very capable starter who could be the bridge before Wallstedt. It would be a lot easier if Kaapo could be the starter and just fill in with a 1 year 1 million dollar goalie to back him up.
