Hoglander is basically a younger and developing version of Konecny. Why would the Canucks do this?

Bjornfot is getting under 17 minutes of TOI per game. Provorov is seeing 25 minutes a game for the last three seasons. I like Bjornfot's game, I can't see his TOI increasing by 40-50% over the next three seasons.
