Coyotes decline and Dobson won’t accept that contract. He’s on pace for 15 goals, 49 points playing top 4 min. That would maybe get him on a 1 year deal so he can go to arbitration next offseason and get 5-5.5 mill.

There’s also no reason to sign Zadorov to a 5 year deal, he’s a 3rd pair D who benefits from playing in sutters system

Yeah the time to buy low on schmaltz has come and gone. They have to pay people, and the guy putting up a PPG making $6m isn’t getting moved for a cap dump, a failed prospect, and a 2nd. You can get rid of everything but Bailey and the 2nd going to Arizona if you’d like to move him

I'd pump the brakes on Schmaltz - he's on a heater, sure, but he's putting up a ton of points against Ottawa & Detroit. Arizona also holds on to him through next year I bet - starting in 2023-24 his actual dollars are higher than his cap hit, so I bet they try and bleed out one more year paying $4.5M for a $5.85M cap hit before they move on from him.
