WPG has so many top 6 forwards who are rated as god awful defensively by most advanced stats. I wonder if thats a coaching/systems thing or if they just happen to have a lot of bad defensive forwards

It’s absolutely a coaching issue. Most Jets fans have recognized that for years now. There is almost no accountability with the veterans while the young guys get hooped. It’s so frustrating

Personally, I'd trade Connor for Thornton, Pionk for Chara, Morrisey for someone like duncan kieth, and then ehlers I'd trade for Getzlaf. All these vets are going to get you over the top. Actually I think Helle is too unproven, trade him for a stanley cup winning goalie in Braden Holtby.

This organization has serious issues that ownership has kept under wraps quite well, the catering to 26 and 55 has been very detrimental, was not a Maurice fan but this unraveling we're seeing from Wheeler is cause Maurice is no longer here to placate the media with soundbites.

Big changes are needed, I'm not sure if Chevy needs to go as he has done SOME good things but he definitely at least needs an assistant that has a big say in roster decisions, trades, etc.

An entirely new coaching staff is needed, need a head coach that'll put Wheeler and Scheifele in their place.
