While I don't think the deal for Kahkonen was terrible (I'm not floored by it either -- he's ranked 40th out of 48 goalies in terms of goals saved above expected), I wouldn't call the day a Win for San Jose. Not a L either, but just wasn't enough there for me to call it a W.

I think the KK deal will end up being a good one for the Sharks.

I think this is a good trade for SJS. Kahk plays well when he gets regular playing time. His stats fall off when he only gets a game every 2 weeks.

With Hill injured and Reimer not at 100% he will definitely get starts. Gotta think Reimer or Hill are on the move this summer.
