Predicting Lines

Larsson is going to end up on the fourth line. Johansson plays a completely different game than Dowd and Hathaway. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Johansson get a chance to work with Backstrom for a few games but it’s more likely he ends up on the third line probably. And McMichael is still with the NHL team, it’s a paper transaction.

I was thinking the same thing about #90. They could see how he does with Backy and Mantha at least while Oshie is out. I've read some good commentary on Bmac's very under the radar moves and I like what he did. Too bad he couldn't find or bring in a D man for depth to offset possible injuries for the playoffs but I think it's a good idea that he is improving defensive support for the goalie with these acquisitions.

Larsson on the 4th would be a mistake imo. Larson on the 3rd would make that a shutdown 3rd line, and while MoJo plays a different game than Dowd and Hath, I feel he could be an interesting shift to throw off teams, especially those in the Metro that have seen the same Dowd-Hath line for this year.

Johansson on the 2nd for the short term could be interesting, but I don’t trust him on the 3rd long term. Feels like soemthing that may happen for a game or two before a switch is made.

McMichael on Taxi is just to signify the loan, I see him staying up until TVR and Larsson return from IR, then being sent down. I’d rather see Kempny sent down, but it seems the team is hellbent on keeping him on the NHL roster,
