I mean honestly, the Rangers are gonna be in big-cap crunch coming up, doubt they can keep Lafreniere, there is a lot worse you could do with moving Scheifele. However, I really don't think your getting a first as well. While LAf has underperformed to his hype so far, he is still extremely talented and will develop.

If the rangers get swept I could see them making adjustments but I’m not sure if they give up a first and Laf for scheifele

Easy pass from the Rangers. They have zero need or interest in Schiefele.

I would imagine both trades would receive no consideration from the Jets. Lafreniere doesn't fill a need for the Jets and at this point the chances of him getting anywhere close to Scheifele in value and skill are fairly slim.

Can get better then that for Dillon, would keep him before I gave him away for nothing.
