Beg to differ. Reaves does contribute to the physicality they've found- but with guys like Hunt, Goodrow, Blais, Trouba, Motte, and Lindgren- there are plenty of guys to provide the necessary "in your face hockey"...and if any of these guys don't return, next guys up might be Othmann and Cuylle- both play with a hard edge.

Reaves' salary is probably going to have to be moved for CAP purposes. Depending on how many teams look for what he does- in limited minutes- I can see NYR getting less than this offer.

We would do better than that for Provorov. At the least, we'd add Spence or Grans to the deal.
