Description
We know that the oilers need to contend soon with Mcjesus and Draistl. They have no goalies. Could they be interested in Price ?

Let’s say Price plays in the last 10 games of this 2022 season and looks good and healthy .
We could retain up to 2m$.
We could take back 1-2 bad contract

I would add in some more picks because that 1st could be pretty low. Good move for Montreal though but Jake Allen and Mike Smith is rough

Jake Allen would even be traded at 2023 TDL giving that rebuild scenario

A realistic Price trade is too complicated to pull off.
The most reasonable way he leaves Montreal, is contract termination or compliance buyout. Neither of which are likely.

Unreasonable out involves 50% retention or bad contract of equal length, to a contending team, with cap space, for a decent return.

Think along the lines of SJ for Vlasic and a 1st. (Rough example)
